The Practice

Selma Smiles is located on a street off the main thoroughfare, but the extra turn required to arrive at the practice is well-worth it. The brick and Tudor style building, decorated like a French countryside home, is in a word – charming.

“Attempting to overcome cracked walls and other problems, we started plastering walls, faux-painting and captured the mood of southern France in the process,” Dr. Henderson says, with well-deserved pride. A love-seat, comfortable chairs and French country accessories including a wrought iron baker’s rack, set the mood in the reception area. The baker’s rack serves as a coffee and juice bar.

The care taken to achieve this comfortable and classy look only hints at the quality of dentistry that patients can expect. The operatories are modern and high-tech in design, but still attractively accessorized with plants and artwork.
